Welcome to Scanova
By booking an inspection appointment through our website or requesting any of our technical services, you acknowledge your full and unconditional agreement to the following terms. Scanova Management reserves the right to update or modify these terms at any time in accordance with business requirements and technological developments.
1. Scope and Responsibility of Technical Inspection
- Real-Time Condition: The report issued by Scanova reflects the technical condition of the vehicle at the moment of inspection only. The center's responsibility ends as soon as the vehicle leaves the center's premises or the mobile inspection site.
- Digital Systems Accuracy: Our inspection relies on advanced digital measurement and imaging systems. Your agreement to the inspection implies acceptance of the results generated by these devices. Comparisons with traditional inspection centers that rely on subjective human judgment shall not be considered valid.
- Software and Hidden Defects: We are not responsible for malfunctions manipulated via software (Software Flashing) or concealed through illegal electronic add-ons that do not respond to standard inspection protocols.
2. Disclaimer and Safety
- Damages and Property: Responsibility for securing personal property inside the vehicle lies with the owner/applicant. Scanova is not responsible for loss or damage of items not removed before the process begins.
- Pre-existing Condition Faults: We do not bear the cost of repairing any malfunction appearing during inspection if it results from poor pre-existing condition or mechanical/electrical weaknesses.
- Legal and Traffic Data: Scanova is a technical and engineering center. Legal verification of chassis or engine numbers lies with security and licensing authorities.
3. Technical Report Standards
- Concealed Parts and Internal Mechanics: Internal parts (e.g., engine internals, transmission, hybrid batteries) are evaluated using devices and technician expertise. Absolute condition of hidden parts cannot be guaranteed.
- Structure and Glass: The report covers chassis integrity and electronic alignment. Glass inspection is limited to visible cracks or shatters.
- External Information Sources: Vehicle history data comes from third-party databases. Accuracy of this data is the responsibility of the original provider.
4. Data Ownership and Copyright
- All Scanova reports are the intellectual property of the center.
- Technical data (with anonymized client identity) may be used for statistical, commercial, or database development purposes.
- The report is sent digitally. Clients must review and verify it upon receipt.
5. Final Provisions
- The vehicle is inspected under normal conditions. Malfunctions that appear only under extreme situations (e.g., cold starts) are not covered.
- Client’s legal right to object is waived once the report is accepted and the vehicle exits the inspection site.
